Deacon Thady opens with the tree outside his window that had no leaves three days ago and is now in full leaf, meditating on the Holy Spirit and the season. He describes a powerful prayer meeting at Castle Island the night before with Fr. John Keane: Mass, Divine Mercy, the Rosary and praise and worship that left the room, in his words, on fire. He then shares news of Bishop Ray Brown of Kerry, who is gathering non-apostolic prayer group leaders from across the diocese on Saturday 9th May — an invitation Deacon Thady is asking all such groups to take up.

He previews the forthcoming Radio Maria Mariathon fundraising week, passes on the news of the ten-year Saorview licence renewal and imminent national DAB launch, and reads a prayer composed by a member of his own prayer group on the protection of Our Lady. The show closes with the song The Nazarene — the story of a Connemara fisherman who called on Christ in a storm and spent the rest of his life following him.
