A Prayer for When We Don’t Know What To Do Next

Loving God,

when we are facing something hard

and we’re not sure what to do,

remind us

that we are not alone.

You have given us your Spirit—

and you have given us each other—

to help,

to steady,

to guide,

and to speak when we cannot find the words.

So in the moments when we feel uncertain,

help us to become aware

of your presence with us—

not distant,

but near.

Not occasional,

but constant.

Help us know

that we are being accompanied

even in our most difficult times—

especially in those times.

Help us become

people who come alongside others

in the same way.

Amen.
