Frontman Frank Casillas of Voodoo Glow Skulls, an influential Southern California ska punk band, comes on The Dollar Bin podcast to chat with hosts Alan Brostoff (Dr. Disc) and Rev (Singer of The Drowns) about records and the history of the California punk scene.

Casillas talks about how he got the initial itch to be in a theatrical rock band after seeing Iron Maiden's 'Number of the Beast' tour as a kid. The band also managed their own record shop, producing their records in both English and Spanish, and once packaging a DIY 7-inch with a joint in it. The hosts point out their love for a classic scene with Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin blasting Voodoo Glow Skulls in the movie Bio-Dome, 30 years ago.
