This was a really great show. Midnight Monsters is what I intended doing when I started narrating stories. Scary Story Time was supposed to be about callers, but it morphed into more of a show with creepypasta stories.I still continued my dream and finally have it going! Midnight Monsters is a show where people can tell their true scary stories on my podcast and speak to hosts and others about their own stories.  It is a dream come true, but at a price.At first I was using the free model of BlogTalkRadio which only allows 30 minutes of talk time 1 time per day. If I screwed up, I couldn't start another show. I tried it on Spreaker using Google Voice, but I couldn't have multiple callers. So I moved Scary Story Time to Spreaker because I was using it already and I'm hoping the advertising fees will pay the bills for the hosting like they did on BlogTalkRadio.BTR isn't cheap. It's $39.00 per month for the very basic level, which is perfect for my current needs, or $399 per year. I can barely afford that and it would have been more difficult if I was paying for both Scary Story Time on BTR and Spreaker (which I do pay for both.)I am hoping all of the monetization works out for both and Spreaker pays as much as BTR on the Scary Story Time site. Phew that's a lot of yapping. As Patreon grows, I might just cut the ads all together because then I will have a fun community here, I'll give out a great newsletter, and it will help fund the commercial free versions of Scary Story Time and BlogTalkRadio. Note that iHEARTRadio and Spotify offer no monetization at all and I'm on both for networking sake. I'm hoping it draws them to the website where they will find the newsletter here.Again, thank you for your patronage here. Enjoy this first Midnight Monsters episode.
