A February 2026 cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led Vancouver Police to Chad Hartley, booked on four counts of child pornography and child molestation. The investigation also implicated pediatrician Michael Wilmington, who allegedly hosted naked sleepovers with children at his La Center home before being found dead in Lewis County.
