Have second thoughts
To “have second thoughts” means to begin to doubt a decision after you’ve already made it. It’s that moment when you’re no longer completely sure.
Examples:
1- Someone decides to accept a new job. But after thinking more about it, they start to wonder if it’s the right choice. They’re having second thoughts.
2- Imagine you say yes to something quickly, but later realize you may not actually want to do it. Again, you’re having second thoughts.
