Well, there is something even more secretly disturbing out there that you might be unaware of although there are many rumors as to its existence. In fact, after the web became more popular a decade after the turn of the century, people began to whisper about the SCP Foundation.What? You haven't heard of the SCP Foundation? Where have you been?  Like all government agencies out there to protect the general public, its goal is to serve and protect, just like your local police force but we all know that sometimes "force" has different meanings. I know, I know, many of you bleeding hearts will find what the SCP has done in its existence might seem like cruel and unusual punishment but if they weren't around then you will find that many of the world's unknown creatures would take over and destroy the human race or even planet Earth.All of these organizations have their own little acronyms to keep their identity mysterious yet easily remembered. I mean, we all know the NSA means National Security Agency, and the FBI obviously is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. And, because of people like Art Bell who study the unknown, especially in ufology and alien studies, the MIB is also known as the Men In Black. The MIB became popular throughout the 1990s. And then what happened? People made movies and books about their presence until it became a joke and unbelievable--just like the other government organizations. God only knows what the UN actually does. I've heard rumors of world domination and slavery!So here we come upon the SCP. What exactly is the SCP? The words in the name make it pretty obvious. The purpose of the SCP is exactly what its name means "Secure, Contain, and Protect" but in all honestly, who are they protecting? Are they protecting the citizens of the world? Or, are they protecting these unknown creatures, some with evil intent for world destruction?When an SCP is identified, it is taken as a prisoner and studied similar to what happens to many inmates at a prison. Think of it as a very humane prison in some cases, but in others, the inhabitants might as well be death row inmates or prisoners of war by an inhumane dictator. I'm not saying these types of individuals should be treated any differently in many cases and be thankful some are treated as such because if the most dangerous ones were to get out then it is very possible you or I, or even humanity, might be its next victim.Let's take SCP-085 for example.SCP 085 is a safe object class.
