My guest on the podcast this week is the force that is Amy Untamed, the name she goes by on social media. Amy is a spiritual influencer and content creator whose main message is to empower spiritual women to really anchor into their own intuition and self-trust above everything else, and tune in to that guidance rather than outsourcing it to other people, other things, and even other spiritual resources. Amy has such a strong sense of self and such a presence, and we talked about so many things including the chronic ME that saw her housebound for several years, the abusive relationship that she was in until just 2 years ago; how she has healed herself by processing suppressed emotions and trauma from the past; her, not one but two, spiritual awakenings prompted by both her illness and lockdown; personal agency; and how the intense chemistry we so often feel at the beginning of a relationship can sometimes actually be trauma bonding rather than love.
