The Devil Wears Prada 2 dominated the box office with a global opening weekend of $323 million Australian dollars, more than double the original film's opening and the second highest opening of the year. The sequel surpassed Michael Jackson's biopic opening weekend figures, with only the Super Mario Galaxy movie achieving a higher opening this year.
