The Rays walk off the Giants, beating them 2-1. The Rays trailed for a majority of the game until the 8th inning. Ryan Vilade hit a RBI bunt single that tied the game. The reason why the Rays were able to keep it close was because of the awesome performance by Steven Matz. He went 6 IP only giving up 4 hits and 1 run. It would continue to be a pitchers duel until extra innings. In extras Jonathan Aranda would be the hero. After Junior Caminero was intentionally walked Jonathan Aranda blooped the go ahead single to give the Rays the win. The Rays have now won 9 out of 10 games and boast the 2nd best record in the American league. They will look to continue it tomorrow night against the Blue Jays.
