הוראה יסודית בהתחלת פ' בהר: ידועה השאלה כיון שהסדר הוא "שש שנים תזרע שדך גו' (ואח"כ) ובשנה השביעית שבת לה'" – למה נאמר "כי תבואו אל הארץ גו' ושבתה הארץ שבת לה'", שמשמעו שמיד כשנכנסים לארץ צ"ל שביתת הארץ?! אלא מזה למדים שהמטרה והתכלית דהכניסה לארץ היא בשביל ה"שנה השביעית שבת שבתון", "שתהי' כל השנה הבטלה מעבודת האדמה מוכנה לעבודתו ית'". ועד"ז צ"ל בכל בית פרטי בישראל, שהוא בדוגמת "ארץ ישראל", "מקדש מעט": מיד כשנכנסים לבית יהודי, ובפרט כשמתחילים לבנות בית בישראל בעת הנישואין, צ"ל נרגש שהמטרה והתכלית היא אופן ההנהגה דיום השבת – יום מנוחה מכל הבלבולים ודאגות הפרנסה. כלומר, שכללות ההנהגה במשך כל ימי השבוע מיוסד על האמונה ובטחון שה' נותן לו כל צרכיו בגו"ר באופן ד"בשר שמן ויין ישן", ובמילא התעסקותו בעניני פרנסה היא ללא בלבולים ודאגות.

On the verse (at the beginning of parashas Behar), “When you enter the land…the land must rest a Shabbos for Hashem. You may sow your field for six years…and in the seventh year the land must be given a complete rest…” the question is asked: why does the verse imply that Shemitah must be observed immediately upon entering the land (“When you enter the land”), if the seventh year doesn’t come until after the first six? From this we learn that the ultimate purpose of entering the land is for the “seventh year…a Shabbos for Hashem” – the year when the people are free from working the land and therefore fully available to serve Hashem. The same applies to every Jewish home: Immediately upon entering a Jewish home, and especially when a couple marries and starts a Jewish home, it must be with the sense that the ultimate purpose of everything done in the home is the state of Shabbos, the day of rest from the distractions and worries about earning a livelihood etc. Meaning, their entire conduct throughout the week must be founded upon true trust in Hashem, who provides everyone’s needs generously (“fatty meat and aged wine” as appropriate for Shabbos), and therefore they have no worries.
