- The primary management tool in Check Point R80 is SmartConsole
- Access Gaia OS WebUI
- Download SmartConsole client
- Install on your local machine
- Connect to:
- Security Management Server IP
- Authenticate using admin credentials
- Use Wizard Mode in SmartConsole
- Define:
- Gateway name
- IP address
- Establish trust between:
- Management Server
- Security Gateway
- Uses:
- SSL encryption
- Digital certificates
- Secure policy installation
- Safe data exchange
- Default route → Internet traffic
- Static routes → Internal networks
