Isabella Cêpa is a Brazilian graphic designer and radical feminist influencer who was persecuted and eventually forced into exile after she posted a video in 2020 commenting on a freshly-elected trans-identified member of São Paolo’s municipal government, Erika Hilton (previously Felipe Santos Silva), stating that he is a man. She was sued for “social racism” as Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court ruled in 2019 that discrimination against ‘LGBTQ Community’ constituted a penal offense, under existing race-based protections.

What followed was truly a modern-day witch hunt: years of public shaming, intimidation, legal battles and being forced out of her country. She became the first refugee of trans ideology in the world as she was granted refugee status in a European country in 2025. I traveled to Morocco to talk about what has happened to her over the past 5 years and how this all has affected her life.
