Entering the day at 14-17, the Colorado Rockies had won more games in April (13) for the first time since April 2018, their last year going to the postseason. A winning road trip (4-2) and a spot as the 4th-place club in the National League West suggest everything is pointing upward. How close did they come to winning another road series on Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds?
Despite this early success, ESPN still has the Rockies as the worst team in MLB. Why? And is it crazy to think that maybe Colorado deserves to be 30th still? What needs to happen in order to move out of the basement?
