On the women's side, it's been an upset-fest unlike anything seen on the WTA tour in 2026. Anastasia Potapova has pulled off one of the great underdog runs in recent memory — entering as a lucky loser after losing in qualifying, then knocking off World No. 2 Elena Rybakina to become the first lucky loser in WTA-1000 history to reach a semi-final.
