Decentralised compute networks like Akash Network, io.net, and Render Network improve access and pricing, but still rely on trust because they cannot prove results are correct.
Without built in verification, they replicate Web2 with different payment rails. The real breakthrough is verifiable compute, where outputs are cryptographically proven, removing trust and enabling reliable AI and ZK workloads.
