תוכנו של "פסח שני" ברוחניות שייך לכאו"א: אפי' מי שה"ביהמ"ק" וה"ושכנתי בתוכם" קיים אצלו וכל הענינים של "פסח ראשון" היו אצלו בתכלית השלימות‏ – ‏חל עליו הציווי להעלות בקודש ולהגיע ל"ביהמ"ק" נעלית יותר שלגבי דרגת הקדושה הזאת הוא בגדר "טמא", וע"ד הדין "טבל לחולין הוחזק לחולין ואסור במעשר.. טבל לתרומה.. אסור לקודש.. לקודש, אסור לחטאת". וזוהי ההוראה מ"פסח שני": אין להסתפק במעמדו ומצבו אפי' אם עבודתו היא בתכלית השלימות ("קודש") ובאופן של "דילוג" (פסח) למעלה ממדידות והגבלות, אלא אפשר וצריך להתעלות ולהגיע ל"דילוג" שני ועוד‏.

Even one whose personal Beis Hamikdash is intact, and in whom Hashem dwells etc., must nevertheless ascend in holiness and reach a higher level of “Beis Hamikdash,” such that relative to this new, higher level of holiness, he is considered “impure” (similar to the law: “If one immersed for Chulin, he is presumed [pure] for Chulin and prohibited from Maasar…If he immersed for Terumah…he is forbidden from Kodesh…”). And this is the lesson from Pesach Sheini: Even if one has attained the ultimate perfection in his service (“Kodesh”), and in a manner of “Pesach” (“leaping” beyond all measure and limitation), nevertheless it is possible and necessary to rise even higher, and to attain a higher level of “Pesach” and beyond.
