This campaign supports the Don Family relocation from Mexico to the USA and the next phase of MEANINGWAVE. Mixtapes is where it all began... From selling CDs in the schoolyard, to dropping ATD1 in 2004 — the very first online mixtape, with over a million downloads in a week... At some point, the music industry shifted into a new digital mode, and with it came new perils - Soundcloud pages deleted without warning. Streams shut down by automated copyright bots mid-set ("SUSAAAAAAN!")... Spotify profiles and YouTube channels under constant threat. The creative landscape has been nuked by forces that have nothing to do with the music itself.
