As Fair Housing Month 2026 comes to an end, let us be reminded ourselves of something deeply important: fair housing is not confined to one month out of the year. It is a commitment we must uphold every single day.

Advocating for, promoting, protecting and supporting fair housing is what we Realtist and REALTORS do consistently—often without even thinking about it. It is woven into the very fabric of the profession. Organizations like the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) remain steadfast in its mission of “Democracy in Housing,” working tirelessly to ensure that the dream of homeownership is accessible to all, and turns from a dream into a reality for any and everyone  who desires to become a home owner.  

In honor of this, the TRUST, Then Know…The Jackie Boyd Podcast is re-releasing a powerful and timely episode—Season 2, Episode 7 - What’s In The House.  In this episode, we had the incredible opportunity to interview both the National President of NAREB, Mr. Ashley Thomas III and Jacksonville’s local board president Mr. Orlando J. Spencer, highlighting not just Fair Housing Month, but the ongoing, everyday fight for fair housing.

This re-release is intentional. It is a reminder. It is a call to remain aware, engaged, and committed to the work.
