As change is inevitable in college football, one major change that is expected in the near future is the expansion of the 12-team College Football Playoff field. As the University of Tennessee put on its Big Orange Caravan, Tennessee AD Danny White went against the grain on what the SEC commissioner wants: a 24 team playoff field. As Greg Sankey has been against the expansion of the 12-team field, it seems as if the 24 team field picks up more and more steam. Is Greg Sankey in quicksand fighting this battle?
