The BC Food News podcast hosted by Jennifer English, features coverage of the 2026 Alizés Awards which celebrates excellence in Canadian exporters within the agri-food industry. The ceremony was held at the Belvédère du Vieux-Port de Montréal and was attended by approximately 340 participants from all over Canada. Four exemplary companies - A Spice Affair, Lantic Maple, Les Fromages Latino, and NOA – Monsieur Cocktail, were recognized for their notable export strategies and resilience in the face of the pandemic-induced challenges. Martin Lavoie, President, and CEO of Group Export Agri-Food, and other industry experts praised these companies for their risk management strategies. Jennifer also highlighted the role of the jury, which comprised of experts from various agri-food sectors, and thanked multiple sponsors and supporters for making the event a success.
