Chairperson of the African Union Commission, His Excellency Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, is in South Africa.
Chairperson Youssouf is in South Africa to oversee the election of the Bureau of the Pan-African Parliament, taking place on 30 April 2026 at its headquarters in Midrand.
The meeting reflects ongoing collaboration on the work of the African Union, including South Africa’s role and contributions, as well as key issues impacting the continent and the global community.
