En: The wind howled over the vast, white expanse of the Arctische tundra.
Nl: Het was lente, maar de kou was nog steeds scherp.
En: It was spring, but the cold was still sharp.
Nl: Lars, met zijn onderzoeksmateriaal stevig vastgebonden, keek uit over de horizon.
En: Lars, with his research materials securely fastened, looked out over the horizon.
Nl: Vandaag was een belangrijke dag voor zijn onderzoek naar klimaatverandering.
En: Today was an important day for his climate change research.
