Most first-time founders are off by an order of magnitude on what it takes to grow a business. To overcome this, consider what you plan to do to grow your business. Now multiply by 10, and that's what you will actually have to do. Investors fund growing businesses. There's no trick or secret to raising funding. You must first build a growing business.
