We start with the growing sense of Western decline and quickly land on a hard-to-ignore pattern: a K-shaped economy where the top captures upside while everyone else absorbs risk, stress, and stagnation.

We also zoom out to institutional decay, collapsing social trust, brain drain and expat trends, and geopolitical instability that makes long-term planning feel impossible, including why gold markets and hedging behavior signal deeper uncertainty.
