-Those projections of as high as the 2 nd round were way off for Emmett, who heard his name picked in the 5 th round by the Chiefs---those cheers

you heard were from your neighbors thrilled to see him go to their favorite team.

-It’s another year, though, of just one Husker drafted---which is better than what Wisconsin, Purdue and UCLA had….for the Badgers, it’s the

first time since 1978 that no one was drafted. Meanwhile, the SEC had 87 players drafted compared to the B1G’s 68…though it was a good first

round for the B1G. Also…former Husker Nate Boerkircher was a 2 nd round pick (Jaguars)!!! Where did THAT come from?
