א) גם מי שטוען שטוב לו בגלות.. או מה כבר יוסיף לו משיח?.., אדרבה ‏–‏ עכשיו בידו לעשות מה שעולה על רוחו אבל אז... ‏–‏ אבל כשעומד כעבדא קמי מרי' ומתפלל "לישועתך קוינו כל היום" ‏–‏ בודאי לא יסכים לעיכוב הגאולה אפי' רגע א'! ב) על תיבת "אמור" פרש"י "אמור ואמרת. להזהיר גדולים על הקטנים", וזה בא בהמשך למ"ש בפ' שלפנ"ז "קדושים תהיו" ופרש"י "הוי פרושים וכו' מן העבירה" (ומביא פסוקים מפ' אמור), והיינו שיש להזהיר את הקטנים שיהיו פרושים ומובדלים לגמרי אפי' מאיזה שייכות לעבירה (ולא רק העבירה עצמה), ועי"ז נעשה אצל הגדולים ("להזהיר גדולים" ‏–‏ מלשון) זוהר ואור. ועוד.

(a) One may say, I am comfortable in exile, and what more would Moshiach add for me (on the contrary, in exile he can do whatever he wishes, whereas when Moshiach comes…). But when he says the words, “We hope for Your salvation all day” in Shemoneh Esrei, and contemplates the meaning of the words, and he says it like a servant before his Master – then surely he would not agree to delay the Redemption for even a single moment. (b) On the words “Emor el haKohanim” (“Say to the Kohanim…”), Rashi says: “[The verse uses a double expression,] Emor (‘Say’) and V’amarta (‘you must say’), to admonish adults regarding minors [to ensure they don’t become impure either].” This follows the verse in the previous parashah, “You must be holy” on which Rashi says: “Be separate…from sin” (citing verses from parashas Emor), meaning that the children must be cautioned to be completely separate and distinct even from any association with sin (not only from sin itself). By fulfilling this admonishment (“lehazhir”), the adults will come to shine (“zehirus”).
