Anxiety is running high in some parts of the disability community after the federal government proposed a radical restructure of the National Disability Insurance Scheme last week.
More than 160,000 participants are expected to be moved off the NDIS by the end of the decade, in an effort to stem the growth of the $50 billion program.
But there's little detail on how standardised assessments of functional capacity will determine eligibility.
