IN THIS MESSAGE

#1 A MULTIPLYING FAITH BEGINS WITH ORDINARY PEOPLE

Persecution scattered ordinary believers to new places, and wherever they went, they carried the gospel with them. God can use unexpected and difficult circumstances to advance His kingdom in ways we could not have planned. (Acts 11:19)

#2 A MULTIPLYING FAITH SHARES JESUS NATURALLY

The scattered believers shared the good news about Jesus with the people around them. God calls every believer to speak about Christ faithfully wherever He has placed them. (Acts 11:20; Romans 1:16)

#3 A MULTIPLYING FAITH DEPENDS ON GOD’S POWER

The Lord worked through ordinary believers, and many people came to faith in Christ. We should serve faithfully, but lasting spiritual fruit comes through God’s power rather than our talent or ability. (Acts 1:8; Acts 11:21; 1 Corinthians 3:6)

#4 A MULTIPLYING FAITH IS STRENGTHENED THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS

Barnabas encouraged the growing church and strengthened new believers through faithful relationships. God uses Christian fellowship, encouragement, and accountability to help believers remain faithful and continue growing. (Acts 11:22-24; Hebrews 10:24-25)

#5 A MULTIPLYING FAITH GROWS THROUGH ONGOING TEACHING

Barnabas and Saul invested an entire year teaching the believers in Antioch. Biblical teaching helped these new Christians mature in their faith and prepared them to help others follow Christ. (Acts 11:25-26; Colossians 1:28)

#6 A MULTIPLYING FAITH PRODUCES VISIBLE CHANGE

The believers in Antioch lived so distinctly for Christ that they were first called Christians. Genuine faith transforms our character, priorities, relationships, and actions in ways that others can see. (Acts 11:26; Matthew 7:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Trust God to use your ordinary life for His extraordinary purposes. Share Jesus faithfully, depend on His power, encourage other believers, and continue growing as you help others follow Christ.
