Biblical prophecy explained through a true, personal story is the heart of this message from Alex Mapika. Preaching from Joel 2:28-29 and Isaiah 46:9-10, he starts with the classic biblical case for God knowing the future — Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Daniel 2, where a statue of gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay accurately outlined the rise and fall of world empires centuries in advance — and Ellen White's visions during the Millerite movement's "Great Disappointment" of 1844.

Then Mapika shares something more personal: a recurring dream he had for three years, starting in 2016, in which he traveled from Australia back to Zimbabwe and was unable to return home. He dismissed it — until 2019, when he actually traveled to Zimbabwe with his family just as COVID-19 emerged, was providentially pushed onto one of the last flights out before borders closed, and ended up stranded with his wife and daughter in South Africa for five weeks, staying — by what he describes as God's precise timing — just 20 minutes from the Australian Embassy that eventually became the evacuation meeting point. As soon as the dream came true, it stopped.

The message isn't a call to chase predictions or dates; it's an invitation to trust the God who genuinely knows tomorrow, anchored in "the sure word of prophecy" rather than fear, speculation, or headlines.
