Towns and villages across Clare are being urged to apply for Community Safety Grants.
Allocations of between €20,000 and €150,000 are available for local initiatives promoting crime prevention.
The Department of Justice is accepting applications until May 18th.
Ardnacrusha Fianna Fáil Councillor Rachel Hartigan says communities need to make the most of it.
