Episode Details

Fred and Janey marry after college, and he pursues his love of acting. They move to Chicago where he buys a Great Dane dog and does well. He gets roles on “Unshackled!” But when hard times come, he keeps feeding the dog even though his children go without things. Angry at his fate, he talks with Jack Odell and Genie Price who urge him to receive Christ. He reads the Bible and prays for salvation. Convicted about the dog, he goes to a pastor, admits that he sold the previous dog that was dying, and then gives away his Great Dane to the man. Janey and daughters profess faith in Christ.
