Episode Details

As an only child, Laura grows up privileged but without God. At 14 she wins first place in a country music TV competition. She meets Rusty, also a musician, and they marry when she’s 17. They go to Nashville, hoping for success but fail. They have two sons, then he leaves her for another woman. She fights the divorce, loses after three years and lives in denial. For the next nine years she serves the Lord while his mother and she pray for reconciliation. Finally, she accepts her situation, meets Don, a musician, and they marry. Both minister in music & still married after 30 years.
