Trudy’s parents are religious until she’s twelve and they start listening to Christian radio. They receive Christ, but her father leaves when she’s 17. She quits seeing Dad who remarries. Trudy works to help her mother financially until her siblings graduate, then Trudy goes to missionary training in Canada. There she meets Jeff and they marry. They serve in Manaus, Brazil. When her mother is dying of cancer, Trudy cares for her until she dies. After 22 years she is reconciled with her dad, and all the siblings are there when he dies. Still serving in Brazil.
