Episode Details

Rudy grows up in a Christian family, leaves home to work on the railroad around corrupting men. He marries a girl from his Sunday school class. After a few years he decides to read the Bible, then he memorizes 1000 verses. He’s made a conductor. An accident causes a train car to run over his legs, mangling them. Doctors want to amputate but he refuses. God saves his legs, and during 107 days in the hospital he leads several men to faith. He goes back to work as a conductor and helps at PGM on layovers.
