Randy’s family is prosperous but godless. They never go to church. At 16 he’s invited to a youth camp where he hears the Gospel and prays to receive Christ. In college he is discipled, graduates and joins the Marines where he becomes an officer. He marries and they have three daughters; but his wife commits adultery with a friend while he’s stationed overseas. She divorces him and he gets custody of the girls. For ten years he is a single parent, faithful to God. Then he meets Sandy in ministry and they marry after a courtship that makes their love worth the wait.
