Episode Details

“Jennie” grows up with recurring high fevers from a bad kidney. She slips into depression after graduation from high school and quits her job. Unable to talk with a psychiatrist, he hospitalizes her and gives her shock therapy. When the insurance dries up, she is put in the state hospital. There she cries out to God who miraculously heals her. She meets and marries Harry, but after their son is born, her mother-in-law’s control makes Jennie ill again until she learns to stand up for herself.
