Bessie Snow is the New Owner of Volstead’s Emporium in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. Its address is 711 West Lake Street, but you enter through a mysterious back alley door by a red light. The inside, too, is inspired by a 1920s speakeasy. When she talked to Phil Nusbaum, Bessie discussed her goals for Volstead’s and about her journey to owning the place.
