Arizona Teammates Reunite in NFL

Arizona Teammates Reunite in NFL

Published 1 month, 1 week ago
Description

Two former Arizona Wildcats defensive backs, Dalton Johnson and Treydan Stukes, have reunited in the NFL with the Las Vegas Raiders. This is the first time since 2009 that Arizona teammates have been drafted by the same NFL team in one draft. Johnson, who led his team in tackles and interceptions last season, was drafted in the fifth round, while Stukes was drafted in the second round. The Raiders had to trade up to draft Johnson, sending the 199th pick and defensive end Tyree Wilson to New Orleans. Another Arizona DB, Genesis Smith, was drafted by the Chargers in the fourth round. The trios college chemistry could spark something special early in their NFL careers.
