En: The children from the third grade of elementary school in Ružinov were waiting in front of the Vienna Museum of Natural History.

Sk: Jarné slnko svietilo cez veľké okná múzea a jeho lúče tancovali na podlahe vstupnej haly.
En: The spring sun shone through the museum's large windows, and its rays danced on the floor of the entrance hall.

En: Marek stood a little apart from his classmates, his jacket was a bit too big, and even his shoes were brand new.

En: He felt invisible, yet he couldn't avoid this trip.

Sk: "Som rád, že sme tu," povedala Jolana, ich učiteľka.
En: "I'm glad we're here," said Jolana, their teacher.

Sk: "Všetci sa budeme baviť a naučíme sa niečo nové.

Sk: " Jej hlas znel povzbudivo a teplo.
En: Her voice sounded encouraging and warm.

Sk: Marek sa len slabo usmial.
En: Marek just gave a weak smile.

Sk: Lucia, Marekova spolužiačka, sa mu prihovorila: "Marek, chceš byť s nami?
En: Lucia, Marek's classmate, spoke to him: "Marek, do you want to be with us?

Sk: Budeme pozorovať dinosaury!
En: We'll be looking at dinosaurs!"

Sk: " Lucia sa vždy vedela usmievať.
En: Lucia always knew how to smile.

En: Marek nodded, but inside he was full of worries.

Sk: Čo ak povie niečo nesprávne?
En: What if he said something wrong?

Sk: Ale rozhodol sa, že skúsim.
En: But he decided to try it.

Sk: Sála s dinosaurmi bola obrovská.
En: The hall with the dinosaurs was enormous.

Sk: Veľké kostry stáli ako strážcovia času a deti tomu nemohli uveriť.
En: Large skeletons stood like guardians of time, and the children couldn't believe it.

Sk: Ich vysoké krky a dlhé chvosty vytvárali gotický vzor proti stropu.
En: Their tall necks and long tails created a gothic pattern against the ceiling.

Sk: "Pozrite sa na toho triceratopa!
En: "Look at that triceratops!"

Sk: " ozvala sa Lucia.
En: Lucia exclaimed.

Sk: "Veľryby mali predtým nohy," povedal nečakane Marek.
En: "Whales used to have legs," Marek said unexpectedly.

Sk: Všetky oči sa k nemu obrátili.
En: All eyes turned to him.

En: He watched their expressions, whether they were smiling or judging him.

Sk: "Áno, to je pravda," odpovedala Jolana, povzbudzujúc ho.
En: "Yes, that's true," Jolana responded, encouraging him.

En: "Experts think they changed from land creatures to sea ones."

En: Marek felt as if he had grown a few centimeters taller.

En: No one laughed, and it seemed his words were of interest.

En: He felt his flushed cheeks slowly calming down.

Sk: A na chvíľu sa svet zmenil.
