Kingman Chip Sealing Operations
Description
The City of Kingman’s Public Works Department will begin chip sealing operations on Friday, April 24, 2026, on Hualapai Mountain Road between Royal Vista Lane and South Schritter Way. Preparation for the chip seal operation will begin on Friday, April 24, with the actual chip seal application to occur on Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28. Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. Crews will begin at Royal Vista Lane and head east ending at South Schritter Way. While work is underway, drivers should expect lane restrictions, reduced speed limits, and possible travel delays....
