In May 2015, Glenna Duram fatally shot her husband, Martin "Marty" Duram, five times in their Sand Lake, Michigan. Glenna claimed to have no memory of the event, but investigators uncovered evidence of a motive rooted in severe financial troubles and a gambling addiction that had led to their home's foreclosure. The case gained international attention due to the couple's pet African Grey parrot, Bud, who began eerily mimicking an argument in Marty's voice following the murder.
