Hormuz closure risking global food crisis, UN warns

The UN says it's hopeful it could get fertiliser out of the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if it secures cooperation from Iran and the United States.

About one third of global fertiliser trade passes through the Strait - but with shipping at standstill, the UN is warning that 45 million people could be forced into food insecurity.
