Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Australia's fuel supply "remains secure in the near term" - and moving to stage 3 of the government's fuel security plane was "not imminent". 

The Strait of Hormuz remains effectively closed to shipping, and in the latest development, the US President Donald Trump has ordered the US military to “shoot and kill” Iranian small boats choking the Strait.
