Drink of Choice: Pinot Noir

Join Nick Savage, award-winning author and host of Drinking With Authors, for a fireside-style conversation with CK Westbrook, the brilliant mind behind The Impact Series—a gripping sci-fi saga that blends environmental catastrophe, gun violence, space debris, and real-world politics into page-turning speculative fiction.

In this episode, Nick and CK explore:

• How bleak news headlines inspired landscapes of global catastrophe and unlikely heroism

• Deep-dive research into pollution, gun violence, and space junk—and the powerful feminist threads woven through the story

• CK’s adventures on all seven continents and how travel fuels her imagination
