Is the Faces of Death Reimagining Worth It? Spoiler Free w/ Guest Brian

Jose, Mike, and returning guest Brian from Luck Key Finds Comics take on the 2025 reimagining of Faces of Death, itself the notorious 1978 Mondo cult film that everyone whispered about but nobody's parents would let them watch. Directors Daniel Goldhaber and Isa Mazzei (Cam, How to Blow Up a Pipeline) modernize the concept in a big way, and the result is... complicated.

We break down the cast (Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), Josie Tota, Jermaine Fowler, and Charli XCX), the Shudder/IFC acquisition, and whether the third act holds up or falls apart. Three opinions. No spoilers. Come back for the SPOILER'D breakdown to find out why it’s a clever reboot but maybe not entirely successful.
