Jason Jay DeGray, a 42-year-old father from Connecticut, tragically lost his life while saving his young son in a rip current at Cocoa Beach, Florida. Alongside a 34-year-old woman from Ohio, Ebony Mount, they both drowned in the same incident. Despite emergency crews efforts, DeGray and Mount did not survive. DeGray, a devoted father to three children and a loyal Raiders fan, is being hailed as a hero for his selfless act. Calling hours and a celebration of life are scheduled for this Friday at East Windsor Community Funeral Home.
