We discuss the effects of anti-abortion laws that have been passed in various states. The actual numbers of abortions has risen since, and most abortions that are being prevented are life-saving abortions, ending in the pregnant woman's death or disablement.
Part 2:
We talk with Mark Kreidler, a California-based writer and broadcaster.
We discuss the changes instituted in California, increasing the minimum wage for workers in large fast-food restaurants. Predictions were for job losses and higher costs to customers. We look at the actual outcomes.
