Published 10 hours ago
Description
Tallawong Public School in northwest New South Wales opened its gates for the first time today, welcoming 190 students into 24 brand new classrooms, along with a new hall, library and play space. The school is one of 18 new builds or upgrades in the northwest to accommodate population growth, with students previously learning in 15 demountables at nearby Riverston Public School for two years. Initially promised in 2019, the school took six years and a change in government to deliver.
