Australian Border Force has seized nearly 1,000 tonnes of illicit tobacco and more than 4 million vapes in a four-month operation targeting criminal supply chains. The haul, valued at $2 billion, represents enough cigarette sticks to wrap around the earth twice if placed end to end. Nearly three-quarters of the illicit goods were detected and seized in New South Wales.
